Westford, MA—3rd District Congressional Candidate Jon Golnik is proud to announce he has received the endorsement of the Clinton Republican Town Committee. The CRTC sent a letter of endorsement on July 4th, noting the date was chosen in respect of Jon’s Commitment to the Constitution. The letter stated in part:
“As you know we in Clinton have been redistricted and represented by an extremely liberal Congressman from Worcester only to be moved to another from Lowell. This is not what the Republican party wants or needs at this juncture in history.
“We need a Congressman that understands business and the stranglehold large government has on its creation and expansion. We need a congressman that will work to restore our economy and to help jettison the failed economic policies of our current administration. We need someone to stop the massive taxation that will be instituted when the new health care initiative known as "Obamacare" is fully implemented.”
CRTC Chairman, Joseph P. Notaro, Jr. added, “We are proud to provide this endorsement now. We need to make sure we have a strong candidate running against Niki Tsongas in November. Jon is the candidate to beat her and bring back some fiscal sanity and economic relief.”
The CRTC joins with the several other Republican Town Committee's as well as Senator Scott Brown, Governor Paul Cellucci and Charlie Baker in its endorsement of Jon’s candidacy.
“I am honored to have the endorsement of the Clinton Town Republican Committee,” Golnik said. “It is thanks to Chairman Notaro and the entire committee as well as so many others that have offered their support, that we will be able to win this race. I look forward to their help and guidance as we continue on our campaign trail.”
